§ 2.0 Privacy Policy

Regulation (EU) 2016/679

§ 2.1 Controller. InterfaceCraftZone, 63000, 4 rue Sidoine Apollinaire, Clermont-Ferrand, France, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and through our project engagements. Privacy enquiries may be directed to [email protected].

§ 2.2 Data collected. We collect the details you enter on the work order requisition form (name, email, telephone number, organisation, budget envelope, project notes), any information exchanged during scoping calls or email threads, and strictly technical request data such as IP address, browser type and access time used to keep the site secure.

§ 2.3 Purpose and legal basis. Contact and project data is processed to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, perform the contracted work, issue invoices and meet our accounting obligations. Processing rests on your consent when you send a requisition, on the performance of a contract once a work order is accepted, and on our legitimate interest in securing and improving the website.

§ 2.4 Recipients. Data is handled only by InterfaceCraftZone staff and by our hosting, email and payment providers who act as processors under written agreements. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not disclose it to advertising networks.

§ 2.5 Retention. Requisitions without a following work order are erased after 12 months. Client project records, invoices and contract correspondence are kept for the duration of the engagement and for the statutory accounting retention period that follows it. Security logs are kept for no longer than 12 months.

§ 2.6 Transfers. Personal data is stored within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, and are documented before the transfer takes place.

§ 2.7 Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing at any time by writing to [email protected]. You may also withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing, and lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France).

§ 3.0 Terms of Service

Commercial engagement

§ 3.1 Quotations. Every quotation states the scope, the price, the stated tolerances and the delivery window for the work described. A quotation is valid for 30 days from its issue date and becomes a work order when the client confirms it in writing or settles the first invoice.

§ 3.2 Price and payment. Prices are quoted in euros or US dollars as indicated on the datasheet. Custom assemblies require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the balance due at hand-over; fixed datasheet items are invoiced 50% at start and 50% at delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Invoices are payable within 14 days by bank transfer or through the secure payment link published on this website. Late payment attracts the statutory penalty rate plus a fixed recovery indemnity.

§ 3.3 Change of scope. Anything outside the written scope — extra screens, new integrations, additional languages, altered data models — is quoted as a variation before it is built. Both parties confirm the revised price and date in writing so neither side works from a guess.

§ 3.4 Intellectual property. On full payment, all rights in the client-specific source code, dashboards, design tokens and documentation are transferred to the client. InterfaceCraftZone retains ownership of its internal libraries, tooling and pre-existing components, which are licensed to the client perpetually and irrevocably for use in the delivered project. Third-party components keep their own licences and are listed in the delivered manifest.

§ 3.5 Client duties. The client provides timely access to accounts, content, brand assets and a named decision-maker, and confirms that materials supplied to us may lawfully be used. Delays in providing those inputs extend the delivery window day for day.

§ 3.6 Acceptance and warranty. Each delivery is checked against the acceptance criteria written into the work order. A 30-day warranty covers the correction of defects that appear in the delivered scope at no cost. Requests outside that scope are treated as maintenance under a separate retainer.

§ 3.7 Liability. InterfaceCraftZone performs with the care of a competent workshop. For any breach, our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the affected work order, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or loss of data caused by third-party systems, force majeure or misuse of the delivered software by parties outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

§ 3.8 Termination. Either party may end an engagement with written notice if the other commits a material breach and does not cure it within 14 days. On termination, work completed to date is invoiced and paid, and all client materials are handed over.

§ 3.9 Governing law. These terms are governed by French law. The parties first attempt good-faith resolution by email to [email protected]; failing that, the courts of Clermont-Ferrand have jurisdiction.

§ 5.0 Refund Policy

Settlement & cancellation

§ 5.1 Cooling-off for consumers. Where you act as a consumer and the engagement is concluded at a distance, you may exercise your statutory 14-day withdrawal right by writing to [email protected]. If you ask us to begin the work inside that period, you remain responsible for the value delivered up to the moment of withdrawal.

§ 5.2 Deposits and started work. Deposits cover work already performed — specification, design, engineering hours and booked bench time — and are non-refundable once that work has begun, except where InterfaceCraftZone cancels the engagement or fails to meet a written acceptance criterion.

§ 5.3 Cancellation before start. If you cancel a confirmed work order before any work has begun, the deposit is refunded in full within 14 days of the request.

§ 5.4 Non-conforming delivery. If a delivery fails to meet the acceptance criteria written in the work order, we correct it at no charge within a reasonable period. If we cannot bring the work into conformity, you may request a proportional refund for the defective part of the engagement.

§ 5.5 Retainers. Monthly care and maintenance retainers may be cancelled at any time before the next billing date; the current month remains payable, and no further charge is made. Unused support hours do not roll over unless the retainer states otherwise.

§ 5.6 How to request a refund. Send your work order reference, the reason and the preferred settlement account to [email protected], or post your request to InterfaceCraftZone, 63000, 4 rue Sidoine Apollinaire, Clermont-Ferrand, France. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
